We were so excited to be a part of the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure in Denver.

Our friend, Stephanie, was so brave as to leave Greeley at 5AM to go with Tiffany and me to Denver. She was such a good help and we were so thankful to have her there. We painted somewhere around 250 pink ribbons and Stephanie was our photographer. We never could have gotten through so many if she hadn't been there.

The three of us were so very touched by the spirit of the people we encountered - it was a wonderful day!

Our lovely photographer, Stephanie. She was one of the event coordinators for The fourth annual Amanda Gonzales 5K Memorial Run that we attended the previous weekend.

this is the youngest person we painted at this event! (that was supposed to be funny...)
Our contact for the event, Kaylin. Such a wonderful young woman - we appreciate her very much. We painted this ribbon before we started trying to make them look like the running ribbon that symbolizes the race.

Some people weren't as happy as others to have their face painted!

That's me, sitting in the middle of the survivors. I think I was looking for a tissue to wipe my nose. The ceremony was very touching. It is amazing to be in the middle of so many who have fought the good fight!
